In 2020, Omar was invited by TEDx to deliver a Talk to further share his story and also provide tools that he used to help transform his life. We hear more about the adversity Omar faced but get to take away useful tools that we can apply in our own lives to create positive change.

Omar's transformational story was such a national hit that Oxford University Press contacted Omar to ask if he could contribute a section that would be published in The Oxford Textbook on Criminology. The updated textbook is available to purchase and used by students all over the world who are studying Criminology. For someone who did not attend University, this was a huge moment for him.
